A Unique Historic Structure
The Story Mansion is full of historic architectural details seen by only a few, but soon to be enjoyed by many. Here are some photos of the renovation in progress, taken in May 2009.

Renovation Funding
Exterior renovations of the Story Mansion and its carriage house were completed in 2008. Interior renovations awaited approval of matching funds from the City of Bozeman to trigger a Save America's Treasure's grant. The proposal from the "early" Friends, and certain loss of the time-sensitive SAT grant, prompted the go-ahead for a City of Bozeman match. This non-partisan action by Bozeman's City Commission, initiated the first floor renovation, with key structural improvement made to the 2nd and 3rd floors. Funding for final renovation of the 1st floor and renovations for the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Mansion and the carriage house is currently being pursued through private foundations, individual donors, historic preservation grants and Friends of the Story Mansion memberships.
