Jazz & More with Kelly Roberti
Monday, August 9 through Friday, August 13 will see two internationally acclaimed guitarists in performance and workshops in Bozeman.
Starting on the "Jazz & More with Kelly Roberti" series at the Bozeman Public Library on Monday, August 9 will be critically acclaimed, straight ahead, jazz guitarist Joshua Breakstone. Joshua will be interviewed and perform with Roberti in duet fashion. This weekly show starts at 7:00. The series is sponsored by Montana Ale Works and is free to the public.
Then on Wednesday, August 11 "Jazz at the Story Mansion" presents Joshua Breakstone in concert, performing with Kelly Roberti and drummer Brad Edwards. This performance is sponsored by The Friends of the Story and it starts at 7:30. There is a $25.00 suggested donation. Reservations are strongly urged.
The next day, Thursday, August 12 at 7:00 a real rising star in the guitar world joins Breakstone and Roberti! Highly regarded Sheryl Bailey comes to Bozeman to play a few shows. Bailey and Breakstone will perform a concert together at a local residence accompanied by Roberti. This show is partially sponsored by Jazz Montana. Reservations are strongly urged as the venue is intimate. Admission is $25.00.
The very next evening at the same Bozeman residence Sheryl Bailey will perform with Kelly Roberti and Brad Edwards as a trio. You won't want to miss this show as Sheryl's new CD is a dedication to the late jazz guitar legend, Emily Remler. Both Edwards and Roberti toured with Remler for many years. Admission is $20.
For those who want to attend all three unique performances of these world class performers, you can get a pass for $60.00. For more info regarding this week of jazz guitar giants email Kelly@kellyroberti.com. A workshop/clinic for guitarists and all instruments showcasing Breakstone and Bailey is being planned.
